Construction Update

Throughout the month of July, ground improvement work continued at the loading dock and along the east
Throughout the month of August, ground improvement work continued at the east and northeast building exterior. Working platform prep work commenced this month around the Consigli and Left Field trailers in anticipation of ground improvement installation. Geothermal well installation progressed steadily, with drilled wells (inlcuding installed U-bends) increasing from 131 at the beginning of the month to 175 and 100 wells grouted by late August. Water line prep and installation advanced from the south side of the site at Gate A to the north side of the building. Utility structures continued to be installed at the north side of the site. Foundation work continued across all areas, with rebar and concrete wall placements in Areas A, B and C. Interior concrete footings are being prepped at Stair A1 and PE1/PE2 elevators located in Area B. Below grade waterproofing installation continued along the exterior foundation walls in Areas E, F and A. Steel erection in Area F was ongoing with Areas E and G commencing this month, with decking installation and detailing following in Areas F and G.

During the month of August, Consigli submitted additional OALs for Bid Package #6. These included OAL #23 (Finish Carpenty – Millwork ), OAL #24 (Resinous Flooring), OAL #25 (Carpet & Entrance Grilles), OAL #26 (Lab Casework & Equipment), OAL #27 (Athletic Equipment), OAL #28 (Interior Bleachers), OAL #29 (Specialties) and OAL #30 (Wood-Athletic Flooring). Forthcoming OALs include auditorium seating and residential appliances. No descope meetings were held this month however, descopes for sythentic turf and landscaping are forthcoming. MEP coordination meetings continued throughout the month with the design team participating on a weekly basis. Key coordination priorities included MEP risers in Areas A, B and C, along with underground and garage coordination. Permanent power design meetings with National Grid continued, with National Grid to provide final design trench drawings and equipment cutsheets for short circuit study.
